Aurora Alpacas
Overview
For this logo, the task was to create a logo for an established alpaca farm in Sturgeon County.
They wanted to pay homage to their Canadian roots with the aurora borealis colours in the background of their logo.
Approach
Since their business is both shows and farming alpacas, we decided that putting a ribbon for first place behind an alpaca would suit their vision well.
I started by using one of their alpacas as a reference and created a vector icon out of the animal. I then used an image of one of their ribbons they won at an event to create another vector icon to place behind, using the aurora colours.
