CHEEBS
Overview
For this logo, the task was to create a logo for a new up and coming finger boarding company. They wanted to go for an authentic but still street vibe.
Approach
I started with some sketches of broken boards, but we eventually landed on the idea of having the name of the company on the underside of a board, sunken in like it was engraved.
I took this idea a bit further and added some wood grain to the board as well as some dimension. I also decided to add a skateboard wheel behind the whole thing to create a circular shape out of the logo.
The client ended up wanting a version with and without the grain, as well as with and without the wheel.
